The Culture Hackathon organized by OpenGLAM in January 2025 has lasting effects!
Inspired by the initiative, the Lower Austrian Museum Management has begun to organize its collection based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) It all starts with SDG 3 – Health & well-being.

Experience health at the museum
Selected objects from various museums are now available under the themed collection "Health (SDG 3)“ in DIP catalog. This step establishes a connection between historical exhibits and current social issues and illustrates how culture can contribute to health promotion and well-being.

Victoria Bernal supports the project with Christa Zahlbruckner as a central figure.
In February 2025, intern Victoria Bernal supported the project and summarized her findings in a blog post. It shows how museums can communicate the topic of health and help visitors experience the topic from a new perspective. (“FIT THROUGH CULTURE: Experience health and well-being at the museum”)
